A Cross And A Graveyard Are Seen In Bart Township, Pennsylvania
A cross and a graveyard are seen in Bart Township, Pennsylvania, December 1, 2013. On Oct. 2, 2006, Charles Roberts, 32, took 10 Amish girls hostage in their one-room schoolhouse in rural Pennsylvania, lined them up and shot them in the head. He then killed himself. Along with that, Terri Roberts herself became a victim, forced to confront life knowing that her son had committed such an atrocity. When the Amish forgave her son, it allowed Roberts, who is not Amish, to forgive him as well. Picture taken December 1, 2013. REUTERS/Mark Makela (UNITED STATES - Tags: CRIME LAW SOCIETY)

It’s October . . . and creepy, fall season is here.  So here’s a question for you:  How much do CEMETERIES AT NIGHT bother you?

A new poll online asked, “You are asked to cross a large cemetery . . . in the middle of the night.  What do you take with you?”  (And sadly, “A friend who’s slower than you” was NOT one of the options.) (???)

64% said they’d do it with a LIGHT:  A flashlight, a headlamp, or a torch.

10% said they’d do it with a WEAPON:  A gun, a knife, or a club of some kind.

1% said they’d do it with a RELIGIOUS SYMBOL:  A cross, or holy water.

17% said they’d do it without ANYTHING.  No big deal.

And 6% said they would REFUSE to do it, no matter what they had.

In the comments, someone said, “The biggest hazard is just tripping on something, so a lamp.”  Someone joked, “What the hell would I need a gun for?” Another said, “I mean, if I’m gonna bring a weapon, it may as well be a stake!”  And finally someone had this brilliant idea: “Snacks.”
