Officer, It Was a Buc-ee's Situation

A Florida man arrested for driving 117 mph and swerving in and out of lanes told cops he was in a hurry to get to the nearest Buc-ee’s.
According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Omar Soliman told deputies he was speeding because he urgently needed to use the bathroom at Buc-ee’s. The problem? The nearest Buc-ee’s was more than 60 miles away in Daytona Beach. He now faces charges of reckless driving and excessive speed and was booked into the Brevard County Jail on a $500 bond. The sheriff’s office joked that while Buc-ee’s bathrooms are famously clean, drivers should probably be a little closer than 60 miles from their restroom destination before using that excuse.
