New in Theaters: “The End of Oak Street”
1. “The End of Oak Street” (PG-13) Trailer
Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor star in this survival thriller about a family whose neighbors are attacked by prehistoric creatures after the neighborhood is mysteriously transported “somewhere else”. Maisy Stella from “Nashville” and Christian Convery from the Netflix show “Sweet Tooth” play their kids.
2. “The Rivals of Amziah King” (R) Trailer
Matthew McConaughey is Amziah King, a charismatic beekeeper who reunites with his foster daughter (newcomer Angelina LookingGlass) and teaches her the honey business . . . before his rivals tear it all to the ground. Kurt Russell is also in it as a corrupt businessman pulling the strings behind the scenes.
3. “PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie” (PG) Trailer
The PAW Patrol pups crash on an island filled with dinosaurs and have to stop the villainous Mayor Humdinger from exploiting the island for its natural resources after his careless mining causes a dormant volcano to erupt.
The voice cast includes Terry Crews, McKenna Grace, Jennifer Hudson, Jameela Jamil, Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg.
4. And now, some limited releases you may or may not care about:
—“The Wrong Girls”, a stoner comedy starring Kristen Stewart and Ally Shawkat as best friends who take an experimental drug that gives them telepathic powers. LaKeith Stanfield and Kate McKinnon are also in it. And Seth Rogen and Kumail Nanjiani lend their voices to a couple of cats.
