MIRANDA LAMBERT: Sequins and Rhinestones and Fringe, Oh My

If you follow Miranda Lambert on socials or were lucky enough to go to one of her Velvet Rodeo shows in Las Vegas, then you probably saw the incredible costumes she had. Remember? She had one jacket that caught fire. And we imagine there wasn’t a rhinestone safe on this planet
On November 7th, all of the sequins and fringe and rhinestones and pyro are part of an exhibit at the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Museum in Fort Worth. And it’s fitting because the inspiration for most of those sparkling and swingy outfits came from the museum. Miranda explains, “When I first visited the National Cowgirl Museum, I was so inspired by all of the amazing Western pieces on display that I sent a bunch of photos to my stylist, Tiffany. We mixed that inspiration with the heyday of Elvis to create the Velvet Rodeo wardrobe. Seeing these pieces now have a life beyond the stage as part of the Museum’s new Icons Gallery feels really full circle and special.”
