A grandfather got charged and thrown 8 feet into the air by a bison at Yellowstone National Park on Friday. Photographer Mike MacLeod caught the dramatic chase on camera.

Of Note: The man ran behind trees to escape the charging bull bison, but when he ran out of the trees, that’s when he got hooked and hoisted. He has a broken leg, is undergoing surgery, and expected to recover soon.
