Kelsea Ballerini Brings Music Program To Dolly Parton’s Children’s Hospital

Kelsea Ballerini is funding a new bedside music program at Dolly Parton’s Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. The initiative, launched Tuesday, is a partnership with Musicians On Call, a nonprofit delivering live music to hospital patients. It marks the organization’s first Knoxville-area program, made possible through Ballerini’s Feel Your Way Through Charitable Fund. “Music is one of those things that just meets you where you are,” Ballerini said. Having volunteered with Musicians On Call for 11 years, she performed songs including “Dibs” and a rendition of “Lean On Me” for patients and staff. Volunteer musicians will continue performing regularly at the hospital. Story URL
