The Top 5 movies this weekend:

1. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie – $69 million
2. Project Hail Mary – $24.6 million
3. The Drama – $8.7 million
4. You, Me & Tuscany – $8 million
5. Hoppers – $4.1 million

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie remained No. 1 in its second weekend, earning about $69 million domestically and surpassing $300 million in North America.

Project Hail Mary held second place with  $24.6 million, continuing its strong run and pushing past $500 million globally.

The Drama landed in third with  $8.7 million, followed by debuting romantic comedy You, Me & Tuscany, which opened in fourth with $8 million.

Rounding out the Top 5, animated film Hoppers continued its steady performance.
