The Top 5 movies this weekend:

1. The Odyssey –  $124.5
2. Moana – $19 million
3. Minions & Monsters – $14.8 million
4. Toy Story 5 – $14.8 million
5. Evil Dead Burn – $5 million

Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey stormed to the top of the domestic box office with a $124.5 million opening weekend, delivering the third-biggest debut of 2026 and the strongest opening of the director’s career since The Dark Knight Rises. The Universal release also earned $264.1 million globally.

Disney’s live-action Moana finished second with $19 million, followed by Minions & Monsters and Toy Story 5  tied with $14.8 million. Horror sequel Evil Dead Burn rounded out the weekend’s Top 5.
