Jimbo’s Animals Gone Wild: ‘We Bee Delayed’

An American Airlines flight out of Charlotte, North Carolina was delayed for about an hour this week due to a swarm of bees gathered inside one of the plane’s engines.

A passenger captured video as beekeepers and airline crews carefully removed the bees and placed them into a box for safe relocation. Once the bees were cleared, the flight continued on to San Francisco, arriving about an hour behind schedule. Some people on social media applauded the airline for saving the bees, while others suggested they would have just flown away once the plane started moving. Others didn’t care and said the engine could have sucked them up.
