Jimbo’s Animals Gone Wild: Feline Felon Caught With Stolen Hair Ties
Feline Felon Caught With Stolen Hair Ties

A Florida animal rescue is sharing quite the cautionary tale this week after a cat came in hauling some extra baggage.
A 6‑year‑old cat named Midnite was brought in to be euthanized after suffering a serious intestinal blockage. But when the team at HALO No‑Kill Rescue stepped in and took her for surgery, veterinarians discovered the surprising culprit: 26 hair ties packed inside her stomach. The shelter says it’s a reminder that everyday household items — hair ties, rubber bands, bits of string — can be dangerous for curious pets who like to play and chew. The good news is that Midnite made it through surgery and is now recovering well, with her appetite back and her future looking much brighter.
