Jimbo's 'Animals Gone Wild': Diaper-Wearing Monkey Invasion

A 911 dispatcher in Michigan had to ask a caller to repeat their emergency just to confirm they were actually reporting a diaper-wearing monkey trying to break into their home.
Dispatchers say the 911 caller reported a monkey in a diaper on their front porch trying to get inside the house. In a recording of the call, the dispatcher says the animal appeared to belong to the caller’s new neighbors. By the time Animal Care and Control officers arrived, the female spider monkey — named Brazil — had already been taken back home next door.
Officers spoke with the owner and saw Brazil inside the house. The monkey appeared healthy, active, and well cared for. Authorities confirmed the owner is the same woman who made headlines in 2017 after bringing a squirrel monkey into the Bay County courthouse — hidden inside her purse and sent through an X-ray machine. Michigan law does not prohibit owning a monkey. (The Saginaw News)
