Lee Brice Pays Tribute To Kyle Jacobs

Lee Brice has broken his silence on the devastating death of his longtime co-writer and producer, Kyle Jacobs, who reportedly took his own life at his Nashville home on Friday (February 17th). Lee posted a picture of the two together in the recording studio on Instagram yesterday (Wednesday, February 22nd) writing in part, “He was, without a doubt, one of the best people anyone could ever hope to have in their corner…I am eternally grateful for having him in mine.”
Lee began his post writing, “These past few days have truly been some of the hardest of my life. At times, I feel lost and buried under this deep sadness. Other times, I sit and remember all the times with Kyle that bring me comfort and make me smile.”
He added, “I’ll keep Kellie, his family and everyone who was touched by him close to my heart. I’ll miss you til we meet again..I love you, brother.”
Kellie is Kyle’s wife, Kellie Pickler.
Kyle’s last social media post was made the day before he died (Thursday, February 16th) and it celebrated Lee’s 2020 album, Hey World, going platinum. Kyle wrote, “Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together…Deeply honored to be a creative part of it…Thank you Jesus!!!”
