Hailey Whitters Was Once Miranda Lambert’s Video Body Double

Before securing her record deal, Hailey Whitters landed a job due to her resemblance of fellow country artist Miranda Lambert. She told Taste of Country, “I was walking to work at a hair salon, and I got stopped on the street by her music video director. She was like, ‘Hey, what are you doing tomorrow?'” Hailey ended up being hired to be Miranda’s body double in the “Fastest Girl In Town” video, which was released in 2012.

Hailey recalled, “The video director turned to Miranda and said, ‘I think she is going to play you in the “Fastest Girl in Town” video shoot tomorrow,” and Miranda said, “Well, if she’s gonna play me, I’m glad she’s cute!”

Hailey sits inside the Top 20 and climbing on the Mediabase chart with “Everything She Ain’t.”
