Charles Kelley Shares Personal ‘Goodbye Letter To Alcohol’

Lady A‘s Charles Kelley shared a personal new song that he just wrote on social media yesterday (Wednesday, November 22nd). It’s called “As Far As You Could,” and Charles captioned the post, “This song is my goodbye letter to alcohol…I wrote ‘As Far As You Could’ with my bandmate Dave (Haywood) and the talented Jimmy Robbins and this is the demo. This song was very therapeutic to write and I hope it can meet someone where they are.”

Charles has shared his struggles with alcohol over the past few years, even bowing out of the trio’s Request Line Tour, which was ultimately postponed this past August in order to support Charles’ “journey to sobriety.”
