At LAX on Friday (August 18th), TMZ spoke with Billy Porter about the unnamed executive who said studios are postponing negotiations with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA “until union members start losing their apartments and losing their houses.” Porter recently revealed that he has to sell his house as a result of not working.

“I’m already losing my home. That’s why we’re striking. Please understand that … It’s not a game,” he told the outlet. The Pose actor added, “I’m trying to have some grace about this … It’s emotional for all of us. I try to not talk about it because I know that the only thing coming out of my mouth right now is venom and rage. That’s all, and it’s not useful.”

Porter also addressed the backlash he received for criticizing Harry Styles‘ 2020 Vogue cover and calling Anna Wintour a b—ch in a recent interview. The Broken Hearts Club actor said getting “dragged” is “new” for him because he didn’t become a “household name” until he was in his 50s. “I’m telling the truth, and I will always tell the truth … It’s been a rough two weeks for me,” he said.
