Ashley Cooke Reveals Advice She Got From Kenny Chesney

Ashley Cooke revealed to Billboard that Kenny Chesney gave her some career advice when they played the Tortuga Music Festival together.

She told the outlet, “He was like, ‘Keep your head down, grinding hard, keep working, and enjoy it along the way.’ He’s such a hard worker and it shows in all of his success, and I respect how he chooses to mentor other artists. He is just one of those guys who wants to help and wants to mentor.”

Chesney also invited the singer to join him on stage for a performance of “When the Sun Goes Down” during the festival in April.
