A Wisconsin family got quite a surprise when the dirty old hose they found under the hood of their car turned out to be a four-foot boa constrictor.

The family truly thought there was a strange hose in the engine compartment, until it moved and looked back at them. They called local animal control, which brought in a reptile rescue expert to remove the snake. After some careful coaxing, the boa was safely captured and is now being held while officials look for its owner. If no one claims it, the snake will be placed in a new permanent home.
