Fine-Tune Your Nap Game

How often have you taken a nap and woke up feeling even worse than when you laid down? And other times, you may have managed only a quick nap and felt much better?

A sleep expert on YouTube has shared the keys to getting a good nap. Sleep Researcher Dr. Jeffrey Iliff says if you want to enjoy a refreshing nap, it has to be one of two ways.

He says taking a short nap of 20 or 30 minutes keeps you from going into a deep sleep and will result in waking up feeling refreshed. If you want to go longer than that, you should try to nap for 90 minutes. That length of nap completes one full sleep cycle with the same result of waking up refreshed.
