A Florida man is behind bars after trying to pull over an undercover deputy — while pretending to be a cop himself.

Authorities say 46-year-old Nadi Jabari installed red and blue emergency lights in his SUV and activated them on a highway near Tampa. Unfortunately for him, the driver he tried to stop turned out to be a real sheriff’s deputy working undercover. Suspicious, the deputy called for backup — and instead of making a stop, real officers pulled Jabari over. They found the flashing lights still on inside his vehicle, along with a handgun.

Jabari was arrested and is now facing charges including impersonating law enforcement and illegal use of police lights. Investigators say his motives are still unclear. Sheriff’s officials say incidents like this are dangerous and undermine public trust. (Oddee.com)
