Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” Ties Mariah Carey’s Record On Billboard Hot 100

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has tied Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” both holding the record for 22 nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. With Christmas still two months away, Langley could surpass Carey’s record to become the biggest song in Hot 100 history. Released in October 2025, “Choosin’ Texas” first reached number one in February before returning to the top slot on July 4th. Langley’s sophomore album, Dandelion, also returned to the top of the Billboard albums charts.
