Small children everywhere may have felt a shift in the universe. A Pennsylvania highway was closed for several hours yesterday morning (April 27th) when an overturned tractor-trailer spilled its load of 40,000 pounds of chicken nuggets onto the roadway. Police say the truck driver lost control of the vehicle around 6:30 a.m. and the vehicle overturned in the Southbound lanes of Route 309. The nugget spilled into the roadway and shoulder area of the highway, the driver was not injured. The Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department shared photos from the crash scene on Facebook, noting, “The cause of the incident is under investigation.”
