Mental illness is something i have struggled with my entire life. Everyday is a constant battle with myself. To everyone struggling remember you're not alone and it's ok to say you're not ok."

In 2019, Jimmie revealed that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a teenager, which was exacerbated by the pandemic.

Dierks Bentley's Collab With Breland, HARDY Tops Country Charts

"Beers On Me" was co-written by Breland and HARDY, among others, but is Breland's first-ever Number One hit as both an artist and a songwriter. Dierks tells us it was his honor to help Breland achieve that goal. "Helping an artist get their first Number One as a songwriter and as an artist, it's pretty special, you know? I've had a lot of firsts in my career so you're always looking for something new or exciting to get excited about and for me that was huge. Obviously, HARDY doesn't need my help. He's doing pretty good (laughs) on both fronts, but it felt good to be part of Breland's early career right now. He's got so many great things going on and he's just on fire. He has so many friends in the business and is such a talented kid so to have a chance to be part of a couple firsts in his career feels pretty good."

Kenny Chesney's Trucks Rolling To Tampa For Tour's Opening Show

Kenny Chesney's Here And Now Tour doesn't kick off until Saturday (April 23rd) at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, but the huge trucks carrying his sound equipment, lighting rigs and all the construction pieces needed to build his stage are already en route to the venue. Kenny posted the update on social media yesterday (Monday, April 18th) writing in part, "The first trucks are officially headed to Tampa, @NoShoesNation . . . The #HereAndNowTour is really about to happen!"

This is Kenny's first tour since Covid shut down the world and postponed such events for the better part of two years back in 2020.

Via a press release Kenny said, "I got some pictures from the stadium this morning of work starting to happen, and it made me happier than I even thought it would. There's a very special thing that happens when we hit that stage, a rush that is absolutely indescribable, and I didn't quite have that today, but my heart sure pumpd when I saw it."

With supply-side issues very much a factor this season, Team Chesney is sharing resources – specifically steel – with several other major tours out on the road this summer. Kenny is working with several other tours in place to share metal.

He said, "We are all citizens of music. Having been away from the fans for so long, the more we can do to bring music to the people who love it, who breathe it, who find release and love and joy in it, the better the world's going to be. I know how much better I felt just playing in a space with the band; I can't imagine how great it's going to feel once we get into that first song, all singing together."

The Here And Now Tour stadium shows also feature Dan + Shay, Old Dominion and Carly Pearce.

Keith Urban Feels 'Lucky' That Addictions, Sobriety 'Hasn't Defined Creativity'

Keith Urban says he's "lucky" that his music and creativity remain unaffected by his sobriety now 15 years later. He told the Sunday Times, "I'm glad it didn't change anything about my music. I wrote plenty of hit songs while drunk. I wrote plenty sober. I feel lucky it hasn't defined my creativity."

Keith entered rehab for the second time in his life while newly married to Nicole Kidman at her insistence during an intervention.

He ultimately realized he "had to find a different way to be in the world," explaining, "I just realized I'm allergic to (substances). Someone said, ‘You have an allergy? What happens when you drink?' And I said, ‘I break out in cuffs.'"

Keith credits Nicole with helping him turn his life around. He said, "I was spiritually awoken with her. I use the expression ‘I was born into her,' and that's how I feel. And for the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction."

Carly Pearce Makes Donation To Kentucky Music Educators

During Carly Pearce's recent concert at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, she made a $10,000 donation through the Music Has Value Fund to Kentucky Music Educators Association in partnership with National Association for Music Education. The Taylor Mill, Kentucky native has seen the devastation from recent tornadoes across the area, and specifically, for the family of her bass player Phil Noel in Mayfield.

Carly's concert, called Inside 29: Written In Stone Live From Music City, was filmed for release later in the year. Special guests throughout the performance included Ashley McBryde, Lee Brice, Matthew West and The Isaacs.

She said, "I am grateful to have had the support of my strong Kentucky lineage and embrace from true lovers of Country music so it's an honor to help give back to the community that raised me. This donation from the Music Has Value Fund is a way to uplift some other dreamers in the face of chaos. I wrote this album out of survival, and it ended up being the most beautiful season of my life. My hope is that we all find healing in our heartaches."

Carly will join Kenny Chesney on his Here And Now Tour which opens on Saturday (April 23rd) in Tampa, FL.
