Most bank robbers are careful to conceal their identity and make every effort to get away unnoticed. Jane Hollingworth is not your typical bank robber.
The 32-year-old Santa Rosa, California woman is in custody after a bank robbery last week. Police say she walked into a Chase Bank around 9:50 a.m., handed a teller a note threatening violence, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was shown.
Tellers had no problem providing police with a description. Hollingworth has bright blue hair and was wearing a leopard print jacket — not exactly inconspicuous. Officers quickly identified her and she was found about an hour later and arrested on robbery charges. (KRON-TV San Francisco)
