Breaking Mayor

Driving around town in a car filled with guns, cocaine and methamphetamine is a bad idea. Doing it in the town that you’re the mayor of, is a really bad idea.
Authorities in North Carolina say Robbinsville Mayor Shaun Adams was arrested in Graham County after deputies allegedly found cocaine, meth, drug paraphernalia, and a concealed firearm inside his vehicle. Investigators later obtained a search warrant for his home, where they report finding additional illegal narcotics. Adams now faces charges that include methamphetamine trafficking, drug possession, and maintaining a place for controlled substances. He was released on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday. Graham County Sheriff Russell W. Moody said, “No one is above the law. It does not matter who you are or what position you hold.”
