A coffee truck broke down on a Texas highway last weekend, stranding workers on the side of the road. And then things got a little bizarre.

The owners of Espressoak said a wheel bearing on the trailer broke while driving to an event. Fortunately no one was hurt, but workers had to wait in the pouring rain for a tow truck to arrive. The first tow truck came, but couldn’t quite do the job — and neither could the second one. Finally a third one arrived and put the trailer up on the flatbed. But the strangest thing that happened during this ordeal is that while they were waiting around, a kangaroo suddenly came out of nowhere and hopped around the highway for about an hour. It apparently escaped from a nearby home and was ultimately wrangled and brought back to its owner. Meanwhile, workers caught the unusual scene on video and shared it on social media. (UPI)
