f you’re in Nashville or are following the development of data centers around the United States, you might have heard that there are plans to build a center near Nashville’s only zoo. And residents are not having it, including country artists like Brad Paisley.

Brad took to Instagram to encourage others to sign a petition to prevent the build, pointing out that there were no power and water resources to support the center. Others in the comments shared their concerns for the animals who could hear the low level hum that goes unnoticed by human ears.

Resistance to the data centers continues to grow as more cities are reporting issues with water, including contamination and loss of pressure due to over-consumption, along with the intense heat generated by the equipment.
