Boat Intruder Floats Trump Excuse
A Florida man who illegally boarded a docked yacht had the wind taken out of his sails when cops refused to accept his excuse that he was claiming the ship for Donald Trump.
The trespasser said that he was “holding” the yacht for Trump, but when officers asked him to step ashore in order to place a call to the president, he refused. When asked a second time to leave the vessel, the man, whose name was not released, told deputies, “I don’t have to. I’m a veteran of the United States Army here to protect. I’m part of the Hell’s Angels, which protect the United States government, and I protect the president.”
The man, who was also wanted for stealing a motorcycle two days prior to the incident on the yacht, was taken into custody.
