Another Study We’ve All Needed!
How your dog thinks about their toy

The Pulse
Good boy! A new study out of Budapest examined how domesticated dogs use their senses to identify toys. The study involved asking dogs to bring humans certain toys in well-lit and dim rooms.
Dogs apparently have a “multi-modal mental image” of objects, meaning they don’t just use sight to identify toys, but use smell and texture as well. This is how they’re able to bring you a specific toy even when the room is dark.
Exploring how dogs remember objects could be a window into how they think. (mirror.co.uk)
