The ukulele is usually a peaceful, joyful, and even quirky instrument.  And it’s also a WEAPON OF RAGE.

Police in Northern California are investigating a bizarre road rage incident that happened last week, and ended with one person hitting the other over the head with a ukulele.

There aren’t many details on what prompted the altercation . . . if the people involved knew each other beforehand . . . or if the ukulele was damaged.

Here’s all we know:  The victim was driving when he noticed another driver following closely behind and honking.  Both drivers pulled over, got out, and traded blows.  One pulled out a ukulele, and hit the other with it.

Both drivers left the scene.  It’s unclear who reported the incident, but police say the case is being investigated as an assault with a deadly weapon.
