If you think parallel parking in a big vehicle is challenging . . . have you tried it while hauling a GUILLOTINE?

A 35-year-old man from Southern California named Philan-Tam-Duy Le was arrested in Washington, D.C. for being illegally parked . . . with a GIGANTIC guillotine in the bed of his pickup.  He was outside the Capitol building.

The man had a concealed carry permit, but this was a very UNCONCEALED weapon. The wooden guillotine was 10 feet tall with a “sharpened on an angle” metal blade.  (He did not have a gun on him when he was arrested.)

It’s unclear if it was a working guillotine . . . or a prop . . . or what the point of it was.  But the authorities took it seriously.  They seized it . . . and charged the man with carrying a dangerous weapon.

It sounds like the guy drove from California to D.C. . . . so I guess he made it 3,000 miles without being stopped with the guillotine.  The authorities are still investigating.
