If you’re pulled over for going 10 over the speed limit, you may CONTINUE pushing the limit like that . . . even after getting a ticket.  That’s not smart.  But THIS is stupid.

A 20-year-old man in Utah was pulled over on Sunday evening, after being clocked at 112 miles per hour in a 70 mile-per-hour zone.  A motorcycle was also going that fast . . . but it’s unclear if the cops caught them too.

The young man wasn’t alone.  He also had his elderly grandmother in the car, along with his mother, and a 16-year-old girl.  (Ah yes, the thrill of street racing with your mom and grandma!)  (???)

The guy told police, quote, “I drive like this all the time . . . [and] arresting me teaches me nothing.”  His mother told the cop that her son “wasn’t racing, he was just speeding, and trying to show off.”

The man was charged with reckless driving . . . exhibition driving . . . reckless endangerment . . . and possessing a tobacco product while under 21.
