Hulu Orders ‘prison Break’ Reboot Series To Production

Disney+ and Hulu are marking the 35th anniversary of Home Alone by attempting a Guinness World Record. They’re building a 25.6-foot-tall gingerbread replica of the McCallister home in L.A., measuring 58 feet long and 42 feet wide. It will include 5,700 pounds of flour, more than 4,200 eggs, 4,400 gingerbread bricks, 800 roof tiles, 20 gallons of edible glue and 20 pounds of fondant. (Story URL)


Maurice DuBois announced he will leave CBS Evening News on December 18th. In an Instagram post, DuBois wrote, “It has been the Honor of a Lifetime,” reflecting on his 21 years with CBS. His exit follows co-anchor John Dickerson’s announcement that he will leave CBS by year’s end. CBS News has not yet named replacements, leaving the program without anchors in January. (Story URL)


Netflix announced Wednesday that Season 3 of The Night Agent will debut on Feb. 19. The action-thriller stars Gabriel Basso, Louis Herthum, Stephen Moyer, Callum Vinson, and Genesis Rodriguez. The new season follows Peter Sutherland after the explosive events of Season 2. He is tasked with finding a young Treasury agent who escaped to Istanbul with sensitive government data. (Story URL)


Tara Reid continues to insist she was drugged at the DoubleTree Chicago O’Hare Airport on November 23rd. Police say surveillance footage shows no sign of anyone tampering with her drink. Reid told PEOPLE, “No one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink.” Reid claims she met a man, had one glass of white wine, and later woke up in a hospital with no memory. Kim Kardashian will headline a new MasterClass course titled The New Rules of Business: The Ten Kimmandments with Kim Kardashian, launching December 4th. The program offers one of her most detailed looks at the strategies behind her billion-dollar ventures. Kate Walsh will return to Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Addison Montgomery in the show’s 22nd season. Variety reports she will appear in the Jan. 29 episode titled “Strip That Down.” Story details for the episode have not been released. This marks Walsh’s first appearance since Season 19. Peacock has unveiled the first teaser for The ’Burbs, a new series based on the 1989 horror-comedy. The show, starring Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy, and Mark Proksch, will debut on Peacock on Feb. 8. According to the synopsis, the story follows a young couple who reluctantly move into the husband’s childhood home. Their peaceful life unravels when a mysterious neighbor arrives. (Story URL)
