A Colorado man faces felony burglary charges after climbing through a Popeyes drive-thru window at 3 AM and filming himself pretending to take orders. Matthew Klassen, 25, was arrested Tuesday at a St. Petersburg, Florida location after surveillance cameras captured him entering and exiting through the window. Klassen admitted to police he illegally entered the restaurant, filmed himself “simulating taking an order and typing on the order station,” and stole a bottle of water. Officers noted he appeared intoxicated. Klassen offered to show police the video himself. His father posted a $5,000 bond, securing his release Tuesday evening. Klassen, a 2023 graduate of the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, has pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony, which carries up to five years in prison. (Story URL)
