A Drunk Woman Tried to Buy Taco Bell with Tampons

There’s hammered . . . and then there’s shifting to a tampon-based-currency hammered.
A woman in Florida was arrested for DUI last week, after a Taco Bell worker called the cops and said that a woman at the drive-thru was trying to pay for her food with TAMPONS.
The police arrived and found 37-year-old Roshelle Anderson getting out of a red Buick. She seemed disoriented, and spoke to the officers as though they worked at a BANK. (???) (Maybe to ask for more cash, since her “money” apparently wasn’t good enough for this Taco Bell!)
She failed field sobriety exercises. She also didn’t know what day it was, and when asked what city she was in, she said, “Florida.” She admitted to drinking “a little bit [of] brown liquor” earlier. And she also said she’d taken Xanax.
At the police station, she blew a 0.222 . . . approximately 2.8 times Florida’s threshold for a DUI, which is 0.08. She was charged with “enhanced DUI.”
