Eric Church and his foundation Chief Cares have been building a community called Blue Haven in North Carolina to support those who lost everything from Hurricane Helene two years ago.

Eric shared an update that the first 12 families have officially moved in, and 26 more families are set to join over the next few months.

He says, quote, “Blue Haven was never about just giving families a place to live.  It’s about helping them build a solid foundation, so they feel supported enough to turn around and extend a hand to someone else.”

A woman who moved in said, quote, “I prayed for a shack, and God gave me a mansion.”
