Actor Jonathan Taylor Thomas, star of the television series " Home Improvement" accepts his Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Hall of Fame Award during the 12th annual Kids'Choice Awards May 1 in Los Angeles. Now there are TWO “Home Improvement” kids in trouble with the law.  On Monday, Jonathan Taylor Thomas was arrested during a traffic stop in Malibu.

 

 

At around 12:30 in the morning, cops approached a car that was blocking traffic because it was stopped at a green light. They began a DUI investigation, but JTT . . . who was a PASSENGER in the vehicle . . . was uncooperative.

 

 

Police say he ignored their instructions by getting out of the car and repeatedly approaching them.  When they tried to detain him, he kicked a deputy in the stomach.

 

 

Thomas was hauled in and booked on suspicion of felony obstruction and public intoxication.

 

 

Thomas’ TV brother Zachery Ty Bryan has had several run-ins with the law, and is currently behind bars for violating his probation in a domestic violence case.
