1.  “By Any Means”  (R)  Trailer

 

 

It’s inspired by the true story of a young, black FBI agent sent to Mississippi to investigate the brutal killings of civil rights leaders in the ’60s.  Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is forced to work with mafia hitman Mark Wahlberg after racist cops refuse to help. Things heat up, the KKK targets his family, and our heroes get their own brand of justice . . . by any means necessary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.  “Onslaught”  (R)  Trailer

 

 

“Andor’s” Adria Arjona plays an Army sniper trying to keep her daughter alive after a trio of masked super soldiers escape a secret military facility and go on a killing spree. Reginald VelJohnson from “Die Hard” is the old guy helping to keep the kid safe while she kicks ass and hunts the killers.

 

 

 

 

 

3.  “The Sun Never Sets” expands nationwide (R)  Trailer

 

Jake Johnson stupidly suggests that Dakota Fanning should try dating other people to be sure she’s happy in their relationship.  But when her ex-boyfriend (Cory Michael Smith) unexpectedly shows up, he realizes he’s got some real competition.  You may remember Cory as the Riddler on “Gotham”.
