Principal Refused to Abandon Homeless Student, Loses His Job over It

A high school principal from Ohio, Rob Burnside, took in a homeless student, and let him move in with his family, because it helped the kid stay in school. Unfortunately, school officials said the student, DeDe, was no longer eligible to attend, but the principal let him come to school anyway, and he was ultimately forced to step down because of it. Burnside and his wife later became legal guardians of DeDe.
