A Florida man made a big mistake by driving his lawn mower on a public road. He made an even bigger mistake by having loads of drugs on board.
Authorities in Dixie County say a deputy stopped Roy Lee McDaniel in Old Town because the lawn mower did not meet legal roadway safety requirements. During the stop, the deputy reportedly smelled marijuana and conducted a search of a bag sitting between the man’s feet. Investigators say they found marijuana, Clonazepam pills, a hypodermic needle, drug paraphernalia, and suspected methamphetamine.
McDaniel was arrested and taken to the Dixie County Jail. He now faces charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia. (WTVT-TV Tampa)
