A Colombian man is wigging out after being taken into custody by authorities in Barcelona, Spain — for trying to smuggle cocaine into the country hidden under his hairpiece.

Airport security grew suspicious because the toupee was oversized and poorly fit, leading them to believe they needed more than just the fashion police to deal with the situation. They asked the man, whose name was not released, to remove the wig, and when he did, they found a bag containing a kilo of coke taped to his head.

A police statement said, “There is no limit to the inventiveness of drug traffickers trying to mock controls.” (Reuters)
