Manual transmissions are almost gone from the American car and truck market. For the 2025 model year, stick shifts made up only 0.6% of vehicles built for sale here in the U.S., compared to about 35% in 1980. But there are still options for holdouts who still enjoy driving stick, including certain vehicles from Cadillac, BMW, Ford, Honda, Jeep, Porsche, and Subaru — among others.
