The House Of Representatives has passed a bipartisan bill to make daylight saving time permanent across the country. Lawmakers approved the “Sunshine Protection Act of 2025” by a vote of 308 to 117. The measure has President Trump’s support. The bill would end the twice-yearly clock changes but allow states to opt out. The bill’s fate in the Senate is unclear. Story URL
