Anne Frank (1929 – 1945) Jewish teenager who hid from the Nazis in a secret apartment behind her father’s business in German-occupied Amsterdam.
After two years, the Franks were discovered and sent to a concentration camp in Northern Germany.
Anne Frank died sometime in March 1945 from typhus, only a few weeks before British soldiers liberated the concentration camp where she was a prisoner.
