1.  “Mortal Kombat II”  (R)  Trailer and (Profanity Warning) Red Band Trailer

 

 

The sequel to 2021’s “Mortal Kombat” has Karl Urban as martial arts movie star Johnny Cage.  And he reluctantly joins the Champions of Earth Realm in the tournament, despite the fact that he doesn’t have any supernatural powers.

 

 

Also joining the cast are Tati Gabrielle as Jade, and Hong Kong born British actress Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.  Some of you might remember them both from “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”.  They played Prudence and Agatha.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.  “The Sheep Detectives”  (PG)  Trailer

 

 

A mystery starring Hugh Jackman as a shepherd who reads detective novels to his sheep every night, even though he doesn’t believe they understand him. But after he ends up DEAD, the sheep decide to solve his murder and follow the clues as best they can while investigating their human suspects.

 

 

The cast includes Emma Thompson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, and Rhys Darby.
