Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black are executive producing a new Lifetime movie When I Said I Do, premiering May 23 at 7 p.m. CT. The film draws inspiration from their duet of the same name, which topped Billboard’s Hot Country chart and reached No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Sarah Drew stars as Ali Corley, a widowed search-and-rescue K-9 handler reluctant to love again after losing her husband in the line of duty. Eric Johnson plays Shawn Willis, a quiet rescue specialist with his own past. The couple appears as themselves in the film, hosting a relationship podcast that influences the characters’ emotional journey. The story follows two people confronting grief and fear while discovering if they have courage to love again. Black wrote the original duet that spent multiple weeks atop country charts. (Story URL)
