Scott Miller is a fun loving radio pro with over 30 years in the business!
Scott Miller has worked in major markets like Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Cleveland, but prefers the good life right here in Chattanooga.
A lifelong music fan, Scott had a garage band in middle school. From there he met a DJ who emceed one of his shows and the rest is history. “I was drawn to the radio because those guys always sounded like they were having so much fun,” says Miller.
“Where ever I was, whenever I was on the air, I always managed to make it fun. It didn’t matter if it was Country, Top 40, Big Band or Soft Rock.”
Speaking of Country, Scott recently got to host a night at the Grand Ol Opry, fulfilling a dream that he has had for a long time. That dream was to host the “trifecta” of Country music. Having emceed the Renfro Valley Barn Dance, The Wheeling Jamboree and finally the Grand Ol Opry!
Scott has programmed Classic Country stations in Richmond, Fort Wayne and Chattanooga too! Miller says, “Classic Country is a great radio format because the listeners are so into it, they literally listen 24/7!”
Scott’s hobbies include old cars and messin’ with them HO trains. He also serves the community as a dispatcher for the Chattanooga Police Department.
Scott and his wife Becky have been married 32 years. They have a teen aged daughter in high school that keeps them plenty busy with activities. Even though she claims she doesn’t listen to her Dad on the radio, she can sing every Classic Country song he plays! Hmmmmmmm??????
