FACES UnMasked Invites Artists to Go Beyond the Face

FACES: The National Craniofacial Association is seeking local artists, celebrities, and community members to create masks and artwork for its annual fundraising event, FACES UnMasked. Many children and adults with craniofacial disorders live with shame, fear, and doubt. Oftentimes they feel that they must hide behind a mask. Proceeds from FACES UnMasked will directly help fund the financial assistance program that enables FACES clients to travel for life-changing reconstructive surgeries and treatment.

Finished masks and artwork will hang in the HbArt Gallery located on E. Main Street through October and then be transferred to the Church on Main for the main gala event on October 29.

Call for Artist details can be found at www.faceunmasked.org. Mask kits can be picked up at HbArt Gallery at 110 E. Main Street, Wednesday, July 17 through September.
